As Mayor of Cape Breton Regional Municipality, I am deeply honoured to serve a community that holds immense personal significance to me. Cape Breton is more than my home; it’s a place of boundless potential, rich in heritage and resilient spirit. My journey in public service has always centered on promoting growth, opportunity, and unity within our region.

As Mayor, I work to establish partnerships that support economic growth, improve infrastructure, and celebrate our diverse strengths. Whether through championing the efforts of community leaders, supporting local innovation, or working closely with Indigenous leaders, I am dedicated to advancing a prosperous future for Cape Breton Regional Municipality.

The Mayor is delighted to celebrate important milestones with members of the community. Residents are invited to request a certificate to mark significant birthdays and anniversaries.

Certificates for birthdays are available for people celebrating their 65^th birthday and at five-year intervals thereafter, and annually after reaching 100 years of age.

Certificates for anniversaries are available for couples celebrating 25 years of marriage and at five-year intervals thereafter, and annually after 70 years.

To ensure timely delivery, please submit your request at least four weeks in advance of the celebration.
