CBRM Senior Safety Program
The CBRM Senior Safety Program supports seniors and their families by providing trusted information, education and support to help older adults stay safe, informed and connected in their community.
The Senior Safety Navigator works closely with seniors, caregivers, local partners and Community Officers to address safety concerns and connect individuals with the right supports and services.
The program offers presentations, workshops and information sessions on topics such as:
- Fall prevention
- Scam and fraud awareness
- Medication safety
- Storm readiness and emergency planning
- Domestic violence and elder abuse
Seniors may also receive information on topics such as powers of attorney, wills and other planning tools.
