On-Street Parking
Understanding and following posted parking signs helps keep our streets safe and accessible for everyone.
Understanding Parking Signs
- If there are multiple parking signs on one post, read them from top to bottom.
- Arrows on signs indicate the direction and area the restriction applies to.
- Even if no sign is near your vehicle, check nearby posts for restrictions.
- If no time restriction is posted, the sign is in effect 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
To report a missing or damaged sign, or a parking meter that’s out of order or not accepting payment, contact the By-law Enforcement Officer at 902-563-5091.
