Access-A-Bus
Transit Cape Breton's Access-A-Bus service is a specialized transit service for residents unable to use the conventional transit system. Eligible residents must register to use this service.
Access-A-Bus services are available throughout all communities in the CBRM during the following hours:
- Monday - Saturday: 7 a.m.-10 p.m.
- Sunday: 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
Access-A-Bus is designed not just for medical appointments, but also for social outings, shopping, work and recreation within the community.
Access-A-Bus Fares
- $1.75 under 15 km
- $3.50 between 15-30 km
- $6.50 over 30 km
- The maximum one-way charge is $6.50
- Monthly passes $60.00
