Purchase Tickets and Passes
Books of tickets are available at:
- Shoppers Drug Mart (Glace Bay, North Sydney, Sydney, Sydney River)
- Caper Convenience (located in the CBU cafeteria) and the CBU Students' Union building (1250 Grand Lake Rd, Sydney)
- Citizen Service Centre at City Hall (320 Esplanade, Sydney)
Monthly passes are available at City Hall or the CBU Students' Union.

Use the Transit App or Google Maps to plan your trip, check real-time bus locations and find the best route to your destination.

- See nearby ETAs as soon as you open the app.
- Tap GO to get reminders when it’s time to leave, transfer or get off the bus.
- Stay updated with push notifications for stop changes or service disruptions.
- All CBRM Transit riders automatically receive a free upgrade to Royale, unlocking leaderboards, avatars and early access to new features.
Google Maps
Enter your start and end locations, then select the Transit icon to see routes, stops and schedules.
Since these apps use estimated data, you should plan to arrive at your stop a few minutes early and give yourself time for transfers.
